As a member of the Adventurers’ Club of Los Angeles and the Explorers Club you can understand that I love adventure and I love to explore. I also love to learn and as I learned it is wiser to admit what you don’t know than to try and show what you do (or don’t) know.
Another thing that I am fortunate for is to belong to some great organizations including ATA (Africa Travel Association) where I can learn and explore many things about Africa that I have yet to explore.
This past week I was very fortunate to meet Ms. Marsha Chipasa Achiune Holdway the First Secretary of Tourism of the Zambian Embassy and Mr. Robert Sichinga the Honorary Counsel in California for Zambia. It was very interesting to hear them speak about a country in Africa I knew little about.
What most people know about Zambia is Victoria Falls, but there is so much more. Like Tanzania about 30% of the country is set aside for national parks. There is rafting on the Zambezi, incredible game parks that are less visited than other countries in Africa and a chimpanzee sanctuary.
I tell my clients I do not send them anywhere or have them do anything that I have not done myself. I am looking forward to visiting Zambia soon and exploring and learning more about what I assume is another amazing country in Africa.
