Today after breakfast we made our way to Akajera National Park.  This is the only park in Rwanda with the big 5.  And while the numbers are small they are growing.  It is beautiful with lots of different ecosystems.  But what is really impressive is that they just relocated 18 black rhino from South Africa here which was a feat in itself.  They have virtually eliminated poaching and I know in a few years this is going to be an amazing place to see wildlife.  I took a small boat trip on a lake and in 15 minutes saw hippo, darter bird, fish eagle, crested cranes and DeFassa waterbuck.  As always what impresses me is how young, beautiful warm and friendly everyone is.  Rwanda is a great country.
