The Just Around The Corner Gang

It is sort of like reading the real estate section – “Curb Appeal” means the inside is a disaster. A “ little gem” means it is smaller than a dollhouse. Traveling with our group in Patagonia we developed a short hand lingo and quickly became known as the “Just Around The Corner Gang.” So here are some helpful phrases:

“Just Around The Corner” – when you are hiking you have about another 3 hours to go.

Mountain Flat

Mountain Flat

“Mountain Flat” – Hilly and lots of up and down. You just don’t need a rope to climb it.

“Steep” – Bring the rope you are going to need it!

“Patagonia Breeze” –60mph winds

“Patagonia Wind” – 80mph winds
