African Events Calendar – February 2017

Let’s start 2017 off on the most exciting foot and share with you our African events calendar!

There is always something spectacular going on in Africa. The rhythm of Africa is governed by its seasons. Every season brings with it new adventures and opportunities to experience uniquely African events.

In January and February you have an opportunity to witness herds wildebeest arriving on the plains of the Southern Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservancy where we send many clients. The wildebeest (and zebra) are spread out across the plains in this area and this attracts all sorts of predators including lions, leopards, cheetah and hyena. Most of the calves are born during this period. Once born and full of the fresh nutritious grasses they and their moms begin their migration north.

And speaking of rhythm, come to Zanzibar after being in the bush and experience Sauti za Busara.This international music festival brings best artists from Zanzibar and Tanzania, and many interesting stars from Africa and the whole world! This festival in Zanzibar lasts from February 9-12, 2017 and is one of the best parties you’ll ever experience.
