Why We Paddle in the Ocean and Not Fresh Water

Many people ask why we paddle in the ocean and not fresh water.  More people ask what about hippos and crocs?  Never a worry about those animals because we are in the ocean in warm water.  And safety is our primary concern.

But there is another important reason.  For a week we travel seeing amazing wildlife – lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants.  But on the water is another environment that people rarely see and that is amazing sea bird life.  Have you ever wanted to paddle in places few if any go?  Explore areas that are only accessible by kayak.  That is what we like to do too.  Where is the most unusual place you have ever kayaked?
